We are proud to announce that Jim Silvis has joined our firm as Tax Manager effective January 2, 2008. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Valuation Analyst, a Certified Management Accountant, and a graduate of Southern Oregon University. His 13 years of public accounting experience include tax, audit, and consulting engagements. His experience, in addition to the firm’s founder Norm Godwin, CPA promises to benefit our present and future clients.

We've moved from our old location at 8133 Mesa Drive to a new bigger and permanent location off Spicewood Springs Rd. Thank you to all our customers for your business and referrals that have allowed us to expand and serve you better.

I grew up in Bryan/College Station and attended Texas A&M University where I received a BBA in Accounting. I began my accounting career with Thompson, Derrig and Slovacek in Bryan. After obtaining my CPA and completing 2-1/2 years of Tax and Audit work, I moved to Austin to work for Computer Sciences Corporation. CSC provided me with Fortune 500 experience managing implementations of software applications to large Insurance Companies including USAA in San Antonio. I also worked as an Accounting Manager for CSC before returning to Public Accounting in 2002.

I opened my own practice in January of 2004 because I believe that it is the best way to personally serve my clients and provide them with the best customer service. I find helping individuals and small businesses to be extremely rewarding.
